QUEENS! Hands Down! Now I know a lot of people won’t agree or like that but I’m just being fair. Some of the biggest game starters, changers, elevators and innovators come from Queens. Bronx started it, Brooklyn may very well have 3 of the Greatest rappers of 3 Eras [Kane, Biggie and Jay] but no Borough has had more impact top to bottom like Queens. Let’s run a quick list of the Past, Present and Future of Queens.

There are some people I didn’t name because I wanted to be as factual as possible. For instance, I’ve heard Raekwon say “Ghostface Killah is from Queens”. I couldn’t see anything that confirmed where Poke and Tone are from but they created a LOT of Queens Rapper hits. Same with Steve Stoute. I think he’s Queesn but I can’t say for sure. I know Cormega, Nature Father MC and Chubb Rock count too.

I know people move and sometimes where you are born is not where you stay. However look as this list. Some of the biggest and brightest stars EVER have come out of Queens. Some of the biggest execs, DJ’s, and producers from Queens. I’d take Queens top to bottom. over any other Borough any day.
